This was a fun gift for my son who has loved Transformers since he was very young. It does well on smooth surfaces but not so much on carpet.

After only a few pushes to transform from / to car / transformer, the transforming intermittently stopped working after only a few times. Car still worked properly but we purchased this for the transforming portion. Not worth it.

For any child 4 y.o. plus that loves transformer cars, this is the toy. This car is able to do tricks and turns either with the remote or by itself. It changes quickly from regular car to transformer. This car has quickly become my 4 y.o. grand son favorite toy. The only drawback, it scares his 1 y.o. sister when she is crawling on the floor. I had to threaten to take it away. The price is excellent.
