I only needed 1 because I have a Nintendo Switch lite and it's the same joycon that comes with the full system just 1 side when I need the other joycon I have the freedom to do just that. . I will be using it for games like Mario Kart that requires a controller. I also bought a charging joycon controller case to charge it which I could use as a typical controller. So there's versatility to this little thing.

Genuine part. Came in Nintendo box.

My Switch had terrible JoyCon drift. This replacement paired instantly when slid into place. No more drift.

Could have gone for a repair kit, but that's too fiddly and who knows if that will really cure things. The price is nearly the same, too, IIRC.

Although the price seems a bit high to me, it's what the market will bear, hence I dropped a star off that particular rating ("value for money").

The part shipped quickly, too. Overall, I'm entirely pleased.

At first I was skeptical but the joycon has been working really great. Perhaps new joycons feel diferente since I was used to my prior ones I had since the console came out. I love the color!
