5.0 out of 5 stars Quick Plush Fix

Quick review to help anybody whose plush might have arrived similar to mine. Initially I was a little disappointed with the plush as the head had this wider look that deviated from the display picture. A few days later, I got curious and gave Myers head a tight squeeze. Now his head looks more as advertised. It had likely flattened during the shipping process.

As far as the games, I beat them both in a day. Ash vs Evil Dead had the best combat, but some of the more frustrating platforming elements. Halloween was the opposite problem, but I enjoyed playing as Myers.

Overall, I enjoyed the Halloween game slightly more. However it feels more like a side scroller action game with Halloween characters, rather than a true Halloween game. I still enjoyed it a lot nonetheless. The setting and action elements fit more nicely with Ash vs Evil Dead.

The way the DLC characters are utilized is interesting in that enemies and graphics are changed to accommodate their personal story rather than simply a sprite swap.

Yeah, it can feel overpriced for what you are getting. Maybe $15-$20 per game on launch would have been more appropriate. However, if you are a fan, then you probably won't care.

2.0 out of 5 stars Game is fun, Amazon packaging, not so much.

Amazon’s biggest flex is the ability to package fragile items in the plastic bag mailers. Not protection, so in turn, item is smashed and no longer presentable as a gift.

My son is a huge Michael Myers fan and he was quite excited to receive this. Even has a few trading/game cards.
