Hard to explain, graphics are a bit retro but the overall gameplay has a lot of story content and is fun to play with multiple layers of complexity.

I LOVE this game except, there are a few things I just do not have the dexterity to accomplish. Then, I can't progress. I don't know if it's a switch game issue or if it's the same on all formats. I'm so bummed. I was really enjoying this game.

If you only care for the base game, and don't mind not being able to play it portable on Nintendo Switch (unless you have steam deck); it's way cheaper on Steam (I've seen it as low as $15). Switch version also have long load times (15-30secs) to transition between boat, sushi restaurant and diving

This game is a cross between Ridiculous Fishing (mobile game) and Overcooked. More expansive than the Ridiculous Fishing, less micromanagement than Overcooked

You basically go diving for ingredients during the day, and manage a sushi restaurant by night. There’s a story in the background that you participate in

The game has a very good progression system. You spend money you earn in the restaurant form diving to purchase upgrades to get better gear to catch bigger fish, to sell more quality sushi to get more money

Diving requires some resource management via your air tank. If fully depleted and not able to reach the surface or an escape pod, you lose nearly all the loot (except for 1) gained through your entire run that day. If you plan to replay the day from previous save; it can take upwards to 15-20mins

Sushi restaurant requires micro-management. Need to keep an eye on multiple customers needs as well as when dishes are completed by sushi chef. You start with only yourself doing all the work, but eventually you’re able to hire people as the restaurant becomes more popular. You are able to upgrade dishes and make it cost more (uses more ingredients but worth it), as well as set your own menu for the night. There are some mini-games while doing tasks like pouring the exact amount of tea

Overall very fun if you like resource and micro management type games
