This is a nice charging dock for a Quest 2 in that it has cool lighting, fits multiple types of straps, and provides an easy conversion for wireless charging of the controllers. I'm using an elite strap and it has enough expansion toward the back to allow the back of my strap to rest nicely on the dock. There is a small amount of assembly required - the expanding rear cantilevered support needs to be screwed onto the translucent main Quest support, and then the main support slides vertically into a slot on the base. The base has enough weight to prevent any tipping. There are 2 USB-C ports located on the back of the base - an inlet and outlet, to accommodate the two USB-C to USB-c cords provided. The longer cord is to power the dock while the shorter can be used in the outlet port to power the VR unit. Note that this kit does NOT come with a wall adapter, so you will need to provide your own, of which it's recommended to use an 18W or higher adapter.
This kit comes with 2 rechargeable 1600 mAh AA batteries and matching controller covers that you will swap in for the original covers. The provided covers have two exterior contact charge points that allow the batteries to be charged when placed CORRECTLY in the base charger. You will know when the controllers are placed correctly in the charger because the light for the respective controller lights up on the base - red means it's charging/white means it's at full charge. Pressing the center button on the base switches the LED light between on/off/blue/white.
Overall, I really like this dock. While the battery is a smaller capacity than my Duracell rechargeable AA batteries, it's nice to be able to just place them on the dock to charge. The two drawbacks to this dock are 1) the unique one-off batteries that will need to be replaced sometime down the road (hopefully years) that are not standard and 2) you may need to remove your controller grips like I did in order to charger. I can see removing the grips will be a pain every time I charge, almost rendering the point of getting this dock useless, so I am going to try to modify my grips so that the contact points are exposed.
It's a great charging dock for the Quest 2, so depending on price and discounts, may be well worth the price if you can work through the grip issue.

The only drawback I've noticed is that the controllers must be set on the stand just right to charge. This isn't much of a problem as I'm just more careful about making sure the controllers are actually charging before I walk away.
Overall I do recommend this charging dock. It's attractive, works well, saves space, and comes with extra batteries so my device is always ready to play when I have the time.

The stand has 2 places for a usb-c connection, dedicated controller chargers, lighted display and non skid base. The pictures show the stand holding a quest that has a huge upgraded headpiece. The stand holds both easily and doesn't sag at all.
