5.0 out of 5 stars Works Well - Sturdy and Adjustable
Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2024
Assembly took a little effort but it’s fairly easy overall. When put together, it’s rock solid with good adjustments for steering position and even the 4 legs can be independently adjusted to ensure that it doesn’t wobble. The only knocks are some funky looking welds (painted/coated over so it’s not something you’ll really notice) and some sharp edges on the flat metal pieces, but not enough to take away a star. Got it for a great price on Amazon Day. 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stand but slightly difficult to build

Worth the buy and good value for your money. Sturdy and stable but hard to adjust sometimes. Design is intricate but adjustment and instruction manual need much more updating as it’s very unclear to assemble.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the Money. Easy to make better!
Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2025
It drives a little like wet noodle for S-curves for GT7 daily races. To stiffen it up I got a scrap piece of 2x8 and cut it to 16", drilled holes in it for zip ties and covered it with black gaffer tape. 1000% stiffer! I couldn't get from B to A in GT7 without making that change.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good and easy

This is easy to set up, easy to use, and works really well. I have a wheel and pedals attached. It's a bit difficult to change the height but once it is set up it's great. It's comfortable and sturdy and meets my needs. It's a little heavy, but not so much that I can't carry it around and store it. I love that it folds. That makes it easy to store.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very poor quality control and some design flaws
Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2023
So I saw some mixed reviews but figured it would be ok for what it costs. It's just OK.

    1. Poor quality control - The paint job was terrible. There were multiple spots where they repaired scratches with a rattle can. You could see the overspray and it looked terrible. Also, the paint wasn't fully dried when they packed it and the bubble wrap left marks on the paint. Fortunately, I had a Scotch Brite pad I rubbed it out wet and got most of the overspray to blend in so unless you know what you're looking for, you might not notice it. Also, the welding job was horrendous. The pedal mounting board was out of square by almost 1/2" along the back edge. It can be noticeable if you know its there.

    2. It's marketed as a foldable stand but it really isn't. While you "can" fold it, its very awkward to try to do so and the hinge bolt is not a locking bolt so you have to loosen and retighten it each time you fold and unfold it or everything will be wobbly.

    3. As others have noted, it is short on flat washers for the larger diameter bolts. No excuse for that. However, at least it does come with enough M6 x 1 screws to mount your wheel and pedal assembly.

    4. The caps that fill in the front end of the pipes are really cheap and just about fall out by looking at them. The threaded inserts at the front look very unfinished for a non-available accessory chair and should be eliminated.

    5. The placement of the front adjustable feet are too far back and that makes it easier for the stand to tip forward. I will need to add about 10 lbs. of weight to the back to better balance the unit.

    6. The vertical height adjustment uses 2 knobs that dig into the tubing to tighten them down. It leaves big gouges in the pipes that you will see if you raise the height of the wheel. Also you have to be sure to pull up on each side evenly or the wheel assembly will be crooked.

In closing, I cannot recommend this unit at all. I was able to make it work, but once you adjust everything you need to tighten everything down really well to stiffen it up so it's not easily adjustable for different people in the family. The only reason I kept it is because I'm the only one that will be using it and I have enough room that I don't have to fold it up after each use.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money unless you have a garage full of nuts and bolts

What's to be expected when unboxing, worst directions in history, even the images are horrible. Then the fun part, it was missing a bushing to install the 4th floor pad, off to the garage you will go to find a nut and washers to try and duplicate, 1st step complete, I got lucky, Another fun part begins, you will see first hand the lack of understanding on how angles work in other countrys for the for the fit and finish, you will be working with 30 degree angles instead of 45 so be prepared to bend all connections with wrenchs while tightening to complete the bends for mounting. You may want to get real wrenches or ratchets for this. It will be confusing because you will question how they got this so wrong. 1 step later is when you will realize none of the nuts and washers you need to attach the steering wheel came with the bolts (which are needlessly long with no thread covers to at least clean up the fit and finish. Off to the garage again, you will need 4 1" bolts, 4 washers, 4 nuts. Once you get past this point you will realize the steering wheel mount plate is backwards because the directions show it backwards, your steering wheel bolts won't line up this way so it needs to be flipped. If your looking for surprises especially on Christmas morning I recommend, if you don't like surprises there are probably better options. I think the you get what you pay for rule applies however I don't understand how a manufacturer can go through the motions of building a product that seems only minor adjustments in templates, photography and packaging quality control were needed to make something decent.

Sturdy and well made, it went together fairly easily and I like how adjustable it is. I didnt attach the gear shifter plate, I use steering wheel paddles. 4 stars because the adjustments are not very easy to make. Switching between adult and kid size takes a lot of shoving and wiggling.
