    This seemed to be hard to find for a student, so when it turned up I ordered it promptly! He earned this gift through positive behavior, good grades, chores, and being a good model for others. He said he enjoys playing this character in his game and he is saving the figure in the box to keep in good condition.

    GENERAL INFO: I can't get enough of these amiibo. I decided to buy just Marth at launch to see how they do and by god the amiibo are amazing. Amiibo levels affect their stats so a lvl. 50 Marth amiibo is stronger, faster and can take a hit better than a normal Marth even if you don't play with custom characters. Amiibo are also the best way outside of All-Star mode to get equippable items and trophies because they earn more of them the more they fight.

    LEVELING: Leveling them is fast and easy, it only takes about 2-3 hours of gameplay to get them to level 50. That is assuming you play 30 minute timed games. They can even level against CPUs if you want to leave your Wii U on and do other things.

    AI LEARNING: As for the AI learning, that continues even after the amiibo is at max level. After he reached level 50, I trained my Marth amiibo during several hours of grueling 1v1 and after the first few battles he became so good that he beat me about 4 times out of 5. It is very clear that they play differently depending on how they are trained and it's even possible that the amiibo forgets how to battle one way if it's constantly thrown into a different sort of battle. For instance, I've noticed a change in the moves Marth uses after constantly putting him into Free-For-All battles or battles where he's on a small team vs. a large team. It will be interesting to see where experimentation takes me. Either way, after battling the well trained amiibo, level 9's are a cake walk.

    FIGURINE: My figurine came just fine, no problem or complaints at all and no damage done by the packaging. Amazon is very good with returns though so if you get a wonky one, just order a new one and return the old one.

    CONCLUSION: After playing with Marth for a couple of days I decided to go out and buy 3 more amiibo. Now I have Link, Mario and Pikachu and they all trained against Marth and they're all just as formidable as he is. I love pitting 3 of them against a team of 5 lvl 9 CPUs in 8 Player Smash and just watching them go to town on the poor, unsuspecting CPU players. I highly recommend getting at least one amiibo to try them out, even if it's not Marth (who just happens to be my favorite). I've nearly come to the decision to get them all. My wallet's crying already...

    First time buying an Amiibo trough the Internet, i prefer to see them in hand trough the store to see the quality of painting and such. Lucky for me my Amiibo Sonic came with no defects of the such which im really happy about it. The Amiibo Sonic is very well made and very accurate the his trophy version in the game. TBH im not really a fan of figurines type like this no matter what character is (im more of a person that likes articulated figures to change there poses from time to time), but for some strange reason i find this Amiibos to be very nice to have even if you want to us it for the games or just to collection purposes, there is something about them that makes them quite charming. I guess is because the days of melee always wanted to see how the trophies in the game would look in real life made and now here they are but to there more updated version.

    I got a couple of amiibos and the Sonic Amiibo is my latest one (18 total), the only thing i would criticize of the Amiibos in general is there availability been to scarce or made exclusive to certain ones in certain stores (lucario Meta Knight, Shulk,or the Squid Amiibo from Splatoon where its available in the US as a triple set and not separate like in the UK or Japan). This is something that hurts quite alot for the Amiibos since its been target by scalpers which people tend to buy from the and supporting there tactics.

    Overall the Amiibo Sonic is very nice and well made and its worth getting it. However Amiibos as a hole if you want to collect them either for play value or collection purposes thats another problem because of there availability trough stores, exclusivity or because of the Scalpers.
