5.0 out of 5 stars The best controller I've used so far
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2024
If tried out Razer's Wolverine or SCUF's Envision but thought they were too expensive, this controller gets you mostly there but for a much lower cost.

    Pros:
    - Every button is clicky. Whether they're mechanical or not, I'm not sure, but nothing feels mushy
    - Face buttons have a short throw and the clickiness gives a positive response. It's really nice to rapid fire a button if you need it.
    - Being able to change if the triggers have a long throw or a short throw is nice, and the short throw mode is amazing for games that don't need the analog function of the triggers.
    - You don't need software to configure the controller
    - Battery life is pretty decent (I got about 20 hours in total)

    Neutral (for me):
    - It can be confusing at first to change the RGB or rumble strength, but once you figure it out, it's not too bad.
    - Some rough textures, especially on the macro buttons and the thumb sticks

    Cons:
    - Face buttons are backlit with no way to turn it off.
    - Thumb sticks can pop off, but are held magnetically and the magnets don't feel like they're the strongest. They're not so loose that they come off all the time, but if you throw it in a bag, they're likely to pop off.
    - The USB-C port is recessed and some of my cables don't fit in it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy connection, backlit controls

I really love this controller in comparison to my Xbox one. This is lightweight and the toggle sticks are magnetic so they can be removed for easy cleaning. I love how all the buttons are lit as well and the colors are so fun. I use this controller mostly for PC gaming but it also has 3 functions for connectivity with the switch on the back of the controller. To charge the controller it comes with a usb connection cord that also doubles as a wired connection when plugged into your PC. I was always having issues with stick drift on my other PS and Xbox controllers which is why I purchased this one and so far I have no complaints. Oh just make sure when you clean the toggles to make sure the latch in you will her a soft click when they are in place.

3.0 out of 5 stars Awesome controller, too bad it broke after a month.
Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2024
Like the title says. I loved the look and feel of the controller, and it's been my favorite since I received it in October. Unfortunately, I prefer to use it wired, but it only detects as a USB 2.0 Device and not as a controller. Also, the left stick is permanently "stuck" (as in it reads as continually being pressed when I'm not touching it). It'll read and function as a controller wirelessly, but the left stick issue remains.

I'm trying to contact support now. Will update the review if/when I get a fix.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, but with some Caveats
Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2024
It's a very versatile controller. There's so many ways to connect. You can connect via bluetooth, via the included 2.4ghz dongle, or whatever the Switch uses. You can use XInput or DInput. It has turbo, programmable buttons (including 4 extra buttons on the back), and gyro. In terms of tactile feel and build quality it is pretty close to the Xbox Series controller. It has rumble which works fine.

However, the things I bought the controller for 1) the gyro and 2) the programmable buttons have a big problem and a small problem respectively. Both features operate only within the controller, Steam is not aware of either and they can't be configured through Steam Input.

The gyro works, but it's a little wonky. Compared to the DualSense (PS5 controller) and the Steam Deck's gyro, you really have to jerk the controller around to get it to register. Also there's no way to enable it dynamically (i.e. left trigger full). Because you can't configure it through Steam you're stuck with what the controller came with. You can have it do left stick or right stick and you can't tweak anything like sensitivity.

The programmable buttons in the back also work fine, but are really easy to trigger by accident. There's no fine tuning, it does exactly what you press at the speed you press it. Again, you can't configure them through steam, so you can't have the buttons do something like a keyboard button press.

Overall it's not a bad controller. If you want something like this for Nintendo Switch it would probably be a great buy. I intend to use it primarily for PC/Steam Deck and my main desire was to have gyro. With that in mind, for me it would have probably made more sense to get another DualSense/PS5 controller for the better gyro and ability to configure through Steam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maybe the best value controller I've ever purchased
Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2024
Seems like a steal for the price point I got it for ($50). Found that is has checked a lot of the boxes my Xbox Elite Series 2 does for less than 1/3 the price. Hall effect sticks, gyro, mechanical switches, quick to connect, etc.
Hard to find anything to complain about. The back grip buttons seemed a bit awkwardly placed but that might just be due to having larger hands. Also love the clicky buttons but they are audible so I could see that getting on someone's nerves.
    Would definitely recommend.
