    My ps3 controllers works, the have no drift and any none functional buttons. The only thing they had was a dead battery. Controllers are not being made like this anymore, unfortunately. I do not know if it is delivered or if it’s just a coincidence. What I do know is that a lot of money is being made of of the annoying drift problem. Anyway, this set of batteries saved my 2 DualShock 3. Have not seen any issues just yet.

    I have a PS3 that gets a surprising amount of use despite being 15 years old this year. The controllers are original to the console and while they still worked, did not hold much of a charge any longer. The original batteries for first party controller was 600mAh.

    When I saw this two pack of replacement batteries for the PS3 controller, I immediately grabbed them and once they arrived, installed them in my 15 year old controllers. These batteries have 1600mAh capacity, almost 2.5 times the original batteries.

    Installation is actually pretty painless. This set of two batteries come with a screwdriver and a pry tool. With those two items, just about anyone could perform this repair. Remove the 5 screws on the back of the ps3 controller, use the pry tool to pop off the controller back plate, disconnect the old batter from the circuit board, plug in the new one and then put it all back together.

    This set includes a Micro-usb cable to use for charging your controller if you need it.

    The bottom line here is that this 2 battery set is inexpensive and relatively easy to install. The batteries seem to hold a good charge and require far less recharging than the previous OEM ones. Recommended.
