I purchased these because I had just bought a PlayStation and didn’t want everyone in the house to hear me. The ear pads are super comfortable and the top cushion helps keep pressure off of the top of my head. I love that this is a usb wireless connection so I can just plug and play instead of having to set up a Bluetooth connection. The mic is very sleek and love that it interfaces with the PlayStation so when it’s folded up my mic is off and it turns on when you fold it down without having to mess with any settings. Also like that the volume control is a physical turn dial on the headphones themselves so I’m not constantly having to use a remote or press buttons constantly. The battery life seems to be good. I’ve played probably around 20ish hours before recharging and they still weren’t dead then. I will say that, because the ear cushions are large and comfortable, they do look a bit weird so I wouldn’t wear these in public. The sound quality is also great. I play COD and when people are walking behind me in the game it actually sounds like the person is behind me. This is very helpful with gaming.

It been quite a while since ive owned or used Turtle Beach headsets but seeing as how they have improved their products over the years I can say without a doubt these are worth it. I play on Pc and the super human hearing mode is amazingly game changing. The only downside to these headsets is the headrest, I can see many people becoming uncomfortable with it over time but aside from that its comfortable on the ears and the buttons are easy access. Would recommend these to anyone playing games as Turtle Beach is synonymous for being gamer friendly

Edit: after some fair amount of usage the headband and earphones get uncomfortable over time and arent big enough to give my ears enough breathing room. Also everytime I turn on the device and it connects to the USB device my audio is automatically maxed out and has hurt my ears multiple times

Not intuitive, at ALL

I'm actually really disappointed to give this low of a review and need to return these. The sound is great, the feel is great, they initially seemed to be great headphones. But they are just WAY too troublesome to actually use.

-Using the usb stick, you have to go into your computer settings to switch between the headphones or computer volume. It doesn't just switch when you turn the headphones off.
-I simply could not get the mic to work. I'm trying to talk to my friend on discord. I can hear him, I can hear my own voice through the mic, but the computer just isn't picking up the mic. I've downloaded firmware, restarted, switched many settings. Nothing will get it to work.

Edit: I raised this to three stars because I came back another day and it seems to be working now. But I have done nothing different, so we will see if it continues. Still was a major pain.

2nd and Final Edit: They are back to not working with no explanation. Before was a major false alarm. I was sometimes able to get the mic to pick up in the mic tests, but then the sound wasn't working. Then I was able to get the sound to work, but the mic was no longer registering in the mic tests. There are no more firmware or any other type of updates available, and the only change I am making is unplugging and re-plugging the usb stick. Most frustrating piece of tech I own. Returning asap to get this headache out of my life.

These headphones have a lot of promise… however I did have to return the first set after a month. I believe it may have been a poor sadder job on the battery component as one time plugging them in to charge the charging side got extremely hot. Immediately unplugged and waited to cool down and then plugged them back in and it seemed fine. Fast forward two weeks, the headphones would not charge.

In the interim of those two weeks, I started to get a lot of popping (as if out of range from Bluetooth dongle even though I sit right next to it.)

Other than that issue, sound clarity is phenomenal, battery lasts as advertised, 24+ hrs. I did however notice that they only charge on my computer USB. No other USB charges the set.

(This is my third set, first set lasted a little over a year, however the microphone arm broke, and then down then before the year mark the headset earpiece plastic broke. Almost like it was worn down cheap plastic.) these sets I now have seem like they may have been upgraded. But I don’t know, only time will tell. Treating them as I treat all my electronics, with kid gloves.

Headphones right out of the box are a little snug but not overwhelmingly uncomfortable. I ONLY hear my computer/gaming/movie sounds… world sounds are non existent once the headphones are on my ears. So if you startle easy or often feel like you live in a horror movie… slide one ear muff off. Lol.

Overall, I highly recommend these. I’ve been using Turtle Beach stealth headsets since PS3. I don’t have a lot of knowledge of other headsets, but I’ve been overall happy with them so “if it ain’t broke”.

Use for both PS5 and phone audio (sometimes simultaneously) perfect for gaming and/or music
Battery life is incredible, sound is the best I’ve ever heard, comfort level is perfect (can wear for hours, multi-platform use actually works, great Bluetooth range, durability is great (I’ve had for over a year with no issues.

Only con is occasionally I’ll have my mic flipped down to speaking position and I’m somehow muted so I flip it up and back down and it’s back to normal.

it worked perfect out of the package. the headphones were a little dirty with like crumbs, maybe? but besides that it sounded good as new. and was very comfortable. the microphone was good sounded good. but it was missing the manual, but that happens when you order a opened box and returned item. but yes this was a GREAT bang for your buck! I recommend you get this. $45 for something that usually cost $110-120! :) have a great day!
