5.0 out of 5 stars Razer Headphones: A Better Razer Product
Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2024
I use my Razer headphones daily, which exceeded my expectations. As someone who appreciates high-quality audio, these headphones are essential to my daily routine. Not only do they deliver superior sound quality, but they also offer unparalleled comfort and durability.

One of the standout features of these headphones is their audio performance. Compared to my older Razer Krakens, the sound quality is on a whole new level. Whether listening to music, watching movies, or gaming, the audio is crisp, clear, and immersive. The bass is punchy, the mids are well-defined, and the highs are crystal clear. Plus, the sound isolation is excellent, allowing me to fully immerse myself in whatever I'm listening to without being disturbed by external noise.

Comfort is another area where these headphones shine. The ear cups are plush and cushioned, providing a comfortable fit even during extended listening sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure and customized fit, while the lightweight design prevents discomfort or fatigue, even after hours of use. Whether working, gaming, or just relaxing, I can wear these headphones for hours without experiencing any discomfort.

Durability is also a key factor for me regarding headphones, and the Razer headphones do not disappoint. The build quality is top-notch, with sturdy materials and robust construction that withstand daily wear and tear. These headphones' aspects exude quality and durability, from the reinforced headband to the braided cable. Plus, the fact that Razer's reputation backs them for reliability gives me added peace of mind.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my Razer headphones. They offer exceptional sound quality, unbeatable comfort, and unmatched durability, making them the perfect choice for everyday use. These headphones never fail to impress, whether gaming, working, or just listening to music. If you're in the market for a new pair of headphones, give the Razer head trying the Razer headphones!

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Gaming headset
Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2024
Over the probably 15 years of gaming semi-competitively I have come to use a lot of different headsets, from Razer to SteelSeries or HyperX, this is by far my favorite. The comfort of these headphones are otherworldly and I don't experience ear fatigue after going long periods of time while wearing them. I have heard complaints about the depth of the spatial audio but have never experienced anything of the sort, as I am able to track footsteps in games such as Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege perfectly fine. The volume slider is analog and directly controls system volume which is a huge boon for me, but may not be for everyone. The microphone on this headset is currently the best in class (as far as I've seen, heard, or experienced in a headset) and is absolutely great. My only suggestion is that you change the microphone mode to broadcast in Razer synapse, as it makes your voice sound much nicer to people you are playing with.

TLDR: Great headset, great audio, great microphone, great for gaming, great build, great comfort, great buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars major plastic component irreparably shattered in under 8 months

that a headset of this price point would have a critical structural failure after owning it for less than a year is unacceptable. the plastic casing and multiple interior plastic components where an earcup connects to the headband spontaneously shattered under completely normal use while on a (probably) ordinary human head. i take special care not to manhandle electronics that i pay for, this failure rests entirely on razer's poor manufacturing standards. efforts to carefully reassemble it were rendered impossible, because the problem wasn't a screw coming undone, but the hard plastic pieces holding everything in place both on the outside and the inside themselves failing. as a result, the headset can (even after having to tape it back together as a last resort) no longer fully rest on my head.

product works quite well on a technical level, make no mistake. if you weren't born under an unlucky star like me, you probably won't have any complaints. but a 200 dollar headset has no excuses to fail like this in under a year. razer would have to pay me or otherwise compensate for me to buy another one of these after this. my only option is to seek a hardware manufacturer who can approach this level of audio quality but doesn't make the conscious decision to produce their premium devices out of cheap, brittle plastic (fat chance, though).
