After 5 years of using them , they still work perfectly, one of the pads wore out and need to change it, this is the first time changing them, They have great audio quality and great mic (I only use it to communicate with friends on discord and it works perfectly). The only real care you need to have is the usb "dongle" as this is the most delicate part, not because of its quality but if you hit it while connected you can break the usb and then your headset would stop connecting to your device. For the price they are an excellent option in the market, great audio quality, robust materials (the only downside are the pads, which will be the first thing wearing out, comfortable, great overall. This is my first review but i consider this product so good that it deserved it.

Good Reasonably Priced Headset

I use this headset daily, I use it to game on Xbox and I use it to listen to music while I work on my computer. The sound quality is good and the audio from my mic when I talk to people online is very good as well.

I've been using this headset for quite a while and it more durable then most other brands I have tried. I have had headsets break within 3 months of purchase or last a year or so before I need to get a new one for whatever reason, but this headset lasted 3 years before I needed to replace it. I'm purchasing another copy of this headset because the mic broke, but it was my fault, I'm kinda clumsy at times and I think I sat on it. Even after sitting on it the audio still worked on it, but my mic broke off of the headset so I bought another one, I'm using the old one as a headset with no Mic now.

Either way, its a great headset for the price and if your thinking of buying one you should, its a great investment.

Wow, 7.1 quality is off the chart!

I've experienced other headphones that claimed surround sound, only they always fell short... But this Corsair Void wireless headset produces audio quality that rivals the 5.1 theater system I have professionally installed in our 400 sqf family room! Not only that, I purchased the "Used/like new" which is Amazon's version of an "opened or visually damaged box" where they inspect the actual product, & if passed, put a special seal on it for like half price, or even less... Lol, a corner had a 1/2" lightly dented/scratch that I had to spin box around twice to be sure that was only actual damage, that had to be the reason!? The product was spotless otherwise, & still had ALL of the protective plastic films on All of the shinny surfaces, as well as plastic shrink wrap over main head cushion, entire ear cups, mic end, charging cord, & dongle all wrapped & unopened!! Not even a fingerprint! For $47.51

Everything about this headset sounds & feels great! Time will tell, & I reserve the right to adjust this review appropriately in the future! The only concern (if any) that I have, is ... (being the software has a real-time mic feedback for testing) the mic picked up these subtle little sounds that we usually take for granted i.e., smacking/crunching, little chair squeaks &/or reading/whispering to yourself & such are magnified to a level of concern... Being that I'm a gamer, & tend to curse & talk smack under my breath so-to-speak... lol Yet the mic didn't pick-up other lite noises just few feet away i.e., fan/mini-frig/tv in other room, which I could hear UNTIL I put headset on, then it was gone, & mic test didn't pick it up either!) Thus the reason only 4 on the noise-cancellation rating... All in all, this Corsair void headset, comes across as a nice quality product, both firm & soft! The two main features left to evaluate are, battery-life, & the units over-all ability to achieve & maintain a stable connection/range, over time!

Great budget wireless headphones for gaming

Have only used these for about 5 months. So far I really enjoy them and would recommend them if you want a wireless headset for gaming but don't want to spend $150+ on a "high-end" pair. For context, I'm a 5'10" 200lb man with a big head. Good sound profile for games, but you will probably have to tweak the software EQ a bit to get it on a good level for you. I personally don't mind doing this. No noticeable audio delay either. As for the mic, it's one of the better sounding mics I've had on a budget headset. Voice comes out loud and clear on Discord as long as Mic Boost is turned on in the software. For the range, I can walk about 20-30ft away from my desk before they lose signal with walls in the way.

Other pros: (1) Comfortable cloth ear cups. (2) The part where the ear cup attaches to the headband is metal so doesn't feel like it's cheap and gonna break any moment. (3) The mic has a red LED on it that can be seen while wearing it to let you know when it's muted. (4) The annoying voice commands can be toggled off in the software. (5) Has a loud sidetone/monitoring as long as you use mic boost. (5) Has 2 ways to mute: flip the mic or press the mute button on the ear cup.

Cons: (1) The battery life is not the greatest. If you need something to last you 8 straight hours or more without having to plug it in, this is probably not for you. I tend to game for about 2 to 6 hours straight and haven't had the battery die on me yet even when it wasn't at 100%. (2) This headset requires software installation. (3) Mic Boost is mandatory for me since without it my friends can barely hear me on Discord. This setting can be turned on in the software. (3) Plugging it in to charge is annoying since its a micro USB and only inserts one way. (4) The battery life indicator is not accurate. The charging light on my headset never turns "green" even when the headset is fully charged. (5) The volume slider on the left ear cup is in an inconvenient place for me. When you push it in, it changes your EQ setting, and I accidentally end up pushing it when I take the headset on/off. (6) Pretty much no noise cancellation.

Despite any cons, for $80 on sale you can't really beat it. I would most likely buy another pair of these if I needed to.
