We purchased these as we had two PS3s with no working controllers. They connected very quickly and easily to each of our PS3s. It was so easy that I can confidently say anybody could do it with great ease and no issues whatsoever. The controllers are great quality, especially for the cost. The buttons don’t have the pictures on them (Square, Triangle, Circle, or Cross), which was a little strange, but as long as you’re familiar with PlayStation controllers, it’s not an issue since you don’t look down at them anyway. They came with a cord for each controller go charge them up, and the battery lasts quite a long time. We can play with no issues for hours on end and simply pop them on the charger when we’re done so it’s back up to 100% for next time. These controllers were surprisingly very comfortable to play with as well. They fit just right in your hand, without being too small (like most off-brand controllers tend to be) or too big. Overall, I would highly recommend buying these controllers if you need replacements for your PS3, as they were a great purchase and well worth the money spent!

The plastic feels good, and all of the buttons and triggers are actually from a PS2 controller I believe, but it doesn't matter! Build is fine and the battery life is great so far. However, there is a significant (.5 sec to 1 second) delay when using the controller wirelessly. To me, it's really annoying but barely passable. It comes with a 3ft prob cable so make sure to have a long Mini-USB cable so you can play wired to and don't have to deal with the delay. Other than that, I don't have too many complaints! It works well and the price was great. Maybe see if other controllers don't have as much delay

I wabted to play minecraft on my old ps3, but the controller was dead and wouldn't charge. Ordered these and they arrived the next day and allowed me to explore my old minecraft maps from when I was in college. Cool beans

I bought a 2 pack of these Yinjie PS3 controllers because my son wanted to dust off my PS3 and play some "old school" games. We started playing Call of Duty with my son using a Sony-brand PS4 controller I already owned and me using one of these PS3 controllers. He immediately noticed that I was not being able to hit any shots or even move smoothly on the screen (i.e. he started making fun of me). We switched controllers and then he was suddenly the worthless player. ;) We tried the other PS3 controller in this 2-pack and noticed the same thing.

So, we designed and executed a test program to discover what was going on with these controllers. In this test, we examined the input response of each control axis on each of the 2 Yinjie PS3 controllers. We compared these data with the input response of a Sony brand PS4 controller that was approximately 10 years old.

Deadband: All the joysticks have zero control for approximately the first 1/3 of stick travel. This means you had to move the sticks an unnaturally long way before you are sending any input to the game.

Drift: One of the 4 joysticks in our controller 2 pack has noticeable stick drift with the stick centered. This resulted in the on-screen character turning on its own while no human input was given through the controller.

Jerky response: With the huge deadband described above and the corresponding large region of zero command capability, the sticks jumped from zero control input to a large input once you exited the deadband. This resulted in no ability to command small inputs, such as are required when aiming, ducking behind a barricade or moving over obstacles. The large deadband coupled with the jerky/step input of the joysticks resulted in hit percentages way in the weeds.

Overall: The observed joystick response of the 2 pack of PS3 controllers yielded intolerable input effectiveness for three different FPS games we evaluated. It was our conclusion that these controllers would be unusable for any game requiring even moderately fine control. We further concluded that these are worthless controllers for any game where you have to aim or move a character.
