Arrived in about 4 days, it has great build and weight on it, works instantly with the ps5 for rock band 4 and fortnite festival, and this is the best guitar controller on the market.
Also tried it in pc with pcsx2, dolphin, and clone hero and it also works well once mapped!
I’ve owned guitar hero instruments and also the older rock band ones and boy lemme tell you this is a different one, very comfortable with long lasting battery, as silent as a ghost with the button clicks and strum bar.

I can’t believe how happy I am with this product, I highly recommend it if you really miss the thrill of these games

I know people are complaining about the strum bar, but honestly it's easier to use than most of the rock band controllers I've had, although not quite as good as a guitar hero guitar, but that was to be expected. Really have nothing bad to say, performs well, easy to set up on my xbox series x, and feels great! So glad a company is making rock band guitars again!

I was very hesitant to buy this as I've read a lot of opinions about if it works or not on CH on Mac. Answer: It does work!!! I'm using the latest CH version on Mac Air with M2 and Sonoma.

Caveats:
1.- It's not bluetooth, in the manual it says it's radio frequency 2.4 or something so it needs to be connected using the included dongle which is USB-A so you may need to buy an USB-A to C adapter.
2.- Connect the guitar and press space bar, CH will recognize it immediately however you need to map the buttons, very easy and straight forward.
3.- Tilt and whammy don't work. I'm not sure if you need to calibrate or something but for now it's not working for me.
3.- If you are going to play local multiplayer, make sure to have your other instrument plugged before you plug the guitar so you can use the guitar as player 2, otherwise it will be connected as player 1 and you will have both controllers connected to player 1.

There's so much to like about the riffmaster: Buttons feel great, strum bar is solid (if you don't mind mushier rock band ones), latency is VERY good for being wireless only. Battery life is fantastic and the headphone jack is a great touch too.

Unfortunately though there are some quirks to the riffmaster that make it fall just a tad short for me. First, as most people say, I do think it's overpriced. For $130, just a bit more money will get you into the fully modded decked out Arduino guitars that will last longer and are even more responsive than the riffmaster. This thing should've been $99.99 imho.

Secondly, sometimes the guitar just kind of... is wonky. The joystick on the back isn't aligned properly and tilt works maybe like 75% of the time? Sometimes when I run a song tilt just doesn't work, and having to press the D-pad to activate overdrive is really awkward.

Those quirks aside though, this is a VERY solid guitar for people just starting out. I'm glad to have purchased mine and recommend it for pretty much anyone aside from more experienced GH veterans who may want something with a bit more *umph.*

Loving this guitar! It feels sturdy and solid, and all the buttons/strum bar feel much more responsive and predictable than any of the old Rock Band guitars I've used over the years. Plus I love that the neck folds up for easy storage (not sure if the older ones did that, but it's a great feature). I do wish that it didn't require a USB dongle to connect to my Xbox, but it's a small price to pay for excellent (lack of) latency.

They aren’t good. Mainly the tilt sensors. They feel good on the frets, strummer is ok. Whammy bar is odd. The tilt sensors make it so hard to activate or they activate on their own. I’ve had a few of these & they’re all garbage especially for the price. The little joystick is useless & the other buttons are oddly placed. More R&D should’ve been done on these & they should’ve sent out to people who have been playing the Rockband series of games for years rather than come out with this garbage.

This is a nice replacement if you cannot find the original Rock Band guitars. My biggest complaints is the controllers lack of ability to use Rock Band's auto calibration feature because the guitar lacks a built in mic. This has made calibrating the guitar annoying at best. The strum bar, while functional, feels cheap and doesn't provide the natural "click" noise you know and love. The whammy bar also feels cheap.

The inclusion of a thumbstick, the original D-Pad, USB-C charging, and a built in battery for charging is great. Overall a good guitar controller. But for $140 (tax included) I expected, at minimum, all the original features and quality found in the OEM Rock Band guitars.

We have been searching for a long time for another guitar to work with Rock Band 4 on Xbox One. The ones we did find are over priced. We found this one recently and were very happy with the price. It works great!!! I actually like it more than our other guitar. It works perfect....it's flawless. It's charged with a type c cable. I'm not sure how long each charge last yet. But I know for sure that it's been played with for at least 10 hours and has not died yet. I am very satisfied, would highly recommend and 100% purchase again.
