The tempered glass screen protector from Akwox is top notch! It fits perfectly (for the PS Vita 1000 models) and feels great to use while playing games. I would definitely pick this up for the Vita since the price is good and comes in a pack of 2.

Update:

I recently bought a PS Vita 2000 Model (Neon Orange) so I decided to pickup the screen glass screen protector again from Akwox! Again, the quality is great and it feels aboslutely wonderful to use! It's easy to install and will keep your screen protected for sure!

As for anyone who's curious about the 1K model's screen protector, it's going strong atm! There's no wear and tear atm and it still looks new! I did a side by side picture with the 2K model as well for comparision! =^)

[Please make sure to buy the proper screen protector for your PS Vita Model! The 1000 (OLED) and 2000 (Slim) are different in screen size! My review was combined to include both of them!]

Very good quality. Goes on easy. I only get minor bubbles at the very edge on the right side. IF you use an external grip with your Vita like CTA Digital PS Vita Hand Grip (which I really like), I recommend placing our Vita IN the grip and then mounting the screen. There's just a little bit of wiggle room between the top and bottom "clamp" with my CTA grip and I wish I'd have used it as a guide. I mounted it straight, but once the CTA is clamped down, it pushes on the protector slightly and can create minor bubbles along the top edge. I press them down after removing it with no issues.

When this one needs replacing or I get tired of the edges lifting a hair, I'll do the above to create a better seal.

I purchased the same brand of glass screen protectors for my Vita 2000, and was more than satisfied with them. So when I bought my Vita 1000, there was no question on which screen protectors to by. The application for these is, of course, far easier than any brand of plastic film protector. Simply clean your item well with the included materials, line it up, and set it on. as long as you cleaned the screen surface well and apply in a dust free area, all you will have to do is press it on from the center out to get a perfect application without any bubbles. I personally dont have a dust free area in my house, so I use my bathroom and turn on the hot water, let it steam up a little bit so the moisture in the air will capture the dust. These offer a higher level of protection, prevent fingerprints, and maintains an excellent crystal-clear picture quality. I would definitely recommend these, best screen protectors for any item, not just the Vita.

This is GLASS, not plastic

Was skeptical when I unpacked this, wasn’t sure how the heck it was supposed to actually stick to my PS Vita screen, but I followed the instructions and it worked like a charm. There were two small bubbles under the screen but they actually went away on their own after a few minutes, no trying to scrape them towards the edge required. Just had to let the screen settle I guess. The glass is insanely clear and doesn’t negatively affect picture quality in the slightest, same goes for the touchscreen. My one caution is to be aware that this screen protector is still glass itself. After using the first one for about a week my Vita fell off the bed and the bottom edge slightly dinged on the base of a lamp. That’s all it took for spiderweb cracks to branch out all over the screen from the point of impact. It DID however protect the Vita screen itself from any damage, and thankfully these things come in packs of two, so I peeled the first one off and slapped on the second and I’m a happy camper again. Overall I would absolutely recommend this product as long as you’re not looking for something heavy duty.

Wow, these went on without effort at all, and fell incredible. Now they are not smudge proof like they claim, but they are easy to clean and look stunning. You don't even notice that it's on. No some people are complaining about bubbles and whatnot, they must've done something for that to happen. I literally dropped mine on top of the screen right as I lined it up on accident and it came out perfectly.

The first shipment was missing one of the two screen protectors, it was just basically a flat piece of plastic without any adhesive, but once i contacted them they sent a replacement immediately and the product itself works great. fits perfectly, works flawlessly, comes with two cleaning wipes one wet and one dry and you just press once in the center and the adhesive does all the work, looks pristine after you're finished and now my vita is ready for traveling, covered with a thick layer of plastic so i won't have to worry about it getting scuff marks or scratches inside of my back while backpacking. overall definitely recommend, its a huge step up from just the flimsy plastic film i was using previous to this.
