•top part is very comfortable
•ice silk is definitely on another level as far as materials although like other reviewers I question the durability
•the cushion is amazingly soft
•the nose light block works phenomenally well
The bad
•I’ve got major light leaks, the side of the facial interface is a bit too wide and let’s light in. I can’t tell if the vents are letting light in too but there’s some pretty annoying light leak.
I’m planning to update my review as I got it to make my bobovr s3 the ULTIMATE in headset comfort, I probably would return it if I wasn’t getting that tbh. Once I see how they work together, I’ll update my review to 4 stars if it works well because I think the fan will cover the vent light leaks, and really turn the vents into something useful.
UPDATE: I almost updated to 5 stars instead of 4 but the light leaks seem to be from the vents and are certainly an annoyance but only in direct sunlight from a window for example. The comfort is incredibly good and pairs very well with the s3. If you have a small head, this may not work for you however, you’ll see in the picture that the halo strap is right against the top of the facial interface, it fits my head very well but I could imagine this may be a problem for someone with different proportions.
If you don’t have bobo I think this is still a phenomenal product and I wouldn’t return it. The ice silk has held up well although I’ve yet to wash it, the only downside is it soaks up face oils like nothing I’ve ever seen, it actually left an oil mark on some paper and it was bone dry, hadn’t worn it in days. But damn is it comfy. I’ll see if I can wash it, but it seems to be far more durable than I first thought. Overall fantastic product my only caveat is still the light leaks. Also the bobovr s3 fan doesn’t do anything for the vents, but I definitely feel that they prevent the lenses from fogging up when I get really deep into beatsaber or pistol whip and I’m drenched in sweat
