About this item

Solving the Battery Replacement Hassle: The design of the battery opening enables convenient battery replacement without the need to remove the entire cover of the controller grips. Note: The plastic battery pull tab should be located below the battery and Not for Charging Dock. If you encounter any usage problems, please tell us, we will definitely give you a satisfactory solution!
Comfortable Grip: The controller grip compatible with Quest 3 is made of soft silicone material, which helps to avoid excessive pressure or discomfort on the hands, allowing for prolonged gripping without fatigue or discomfort. The texture of the grip provides enhanced friction, preventing the controller from slipping or sliding during use, offering a better grip and control.
Perfect Controller Protection: The controller grips cover prevents accidental slipping of the controller during gameplay. The customised design for the Quest 3 ensures that the grip cover fits snugly over the controller, effectively protecting the touch controller from scratches, knocks and other everyday damage. The reserved hole accommodates the original wrist strap, adding extra protection and stability.
Versatile Adjustability: The nylon Velcro straps on the wrist joint allow for easy fixation and adjustment of the length and tightness of the wrist strap compatible with Quest 3, catering to different hand sizes. The rotatable rivets can slightly adjust the angle based on different hand sizes or gaming actions, allowing for smoother hand movements. This not only provides a stable and secure grip but also reduces the possibility of hand discomfort and fatigue.
Easy Installation and Removal: The one-piece design of the controller grip compatible with Quest 3 makes it easy to install and remove. The package included: 1 pair controller grip covers with knuckle straps, 1 pair battery compartment cover and 4 plastic battery pull tabs(Two of them are already mounted on the battery cover). Please Note: Batteries not included!

Installation is very easy. Battery evacuation requires a bit of force than I thought. The grip is nice and most likely will not fall off. However, it leaves a mark on my hands when using the strap.
Pros:
- Comfortable.
- Grip is nice.
- Strap is adjustable for comfort.
- Battery evacuation is unique but effective.
- Will never have to worry about it falling off my hands.
Cons:
- Too tight of a strap may leave marks on your hands.
- May need to put on the strap for comfort (not take it off).

5.0 out of 5 stars Major Upgrade To Your Oculus 3 Controllers

As a seasoned VR gamer, I prioritize both immersion and practicality. AMVR's Upgraded Controller Grips for the Meta/Oculus Quest 3 tick all the boxes, offering a significant upgrade over the stock controllers. Here's a deep dive into their key features:

Enhanced Grip and Control: The soft, textured silicone feels grippy and comfortable, even during intense Beat Saber sessions. The textured pattern effectively wicks away sweat, minimizing slippage. My controllers feel like extensions of my hands, not a potential projectile waiting to happen.

Improved Ergonomics: The ergonomic design cradles my palms naturally, reducing fatigue and hand cramping during longer VR journeys. The strategically placed ridges provide additional support for the fingers, further enhancing control.

Battery Access Hatch: A well-implemented hatch on the back allows quick battery changes without removing the entire grip. This small detail is a game-changer, saving precious seconds and minimizing VR immersion breaks.

Knuckle Strap Security: The secure knuckle straps, with their adjustable velcro closures, provide peace of mind, knowing my controllers are firmly attached even during vigorous gameplay: no more accidental throws, just pure VR bliss.

Minor Nitpicks: While near-perfect, there are some little points to consider. Firstly, the grips need to fit the official charging dock. This isn't a deal-breaker, but it's worth noting. Secondly, the battery hatch can be stiff to open initially, though it loosens up with use.

Overall: AMVR's Upgraded Controller Grips are a must-have for any severe Quest 3 user. They elevate the VR experience with superior comfort, control, and convenience. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just like Kiwi's Quest 2 grips. Pricey, but solid.

These were some of the first grips out for the Q3. Having used them for a few weeks, I can say they're great so far. I find them similar to the Kiwi grips I had for the Q2, which were so good that I couldn't bear using the naked Q3 controllers for long.

They don't affect tracking at all -- they have holes where needed for the IR LEDS.

The silicone knuckle straps feel sturdy and are adjustable via the velcro (it looks like you could easily fit anywhere from a child's hand to the larges hands in there). In general, these feel well-made. The silicone itself has a subtle grippy pattern -- just enough to prevent them from getting slippery while still feeling smooth and being easily cleanable. (Personally, I think kiwi and amvr should start putting this pattern on their silicone facial interfaces as well -- it might help with face sweat).

The mounting mechanism is clever -- you get a separate rigid black plastic piece for each controller to replace the original battery slide cover, which functions both as a way to hold the silicone battery door closed and a way to hold the silicone grip on securely. The silicone grips have holes for the plastic pins on these rigid parts, so they don't slip around (as the rigid part is snapped to the battery compartment).

They also include a ribbon to help remove the batteries (I have no idea why these aren't standard in the controllers themselves as removing the batteries normally is a challenge!). The installation was therefore a 2-step process that required removing the batteries, but still only took a few minutes at most. Overall, they're definutely better than the ones Meta sells, even though they're a little pricey for two pieces of silicone and two pieces of plastic.

Definitely a must-have for active games, or any time you want to be able to open your hand without dropping your controller.

4.0 out of 5 stars Grip It and Rip It

Ever felt like your VR controllers have slippery personalities? The AMVR Upgraded Controller Grips Cover is here to give your hands the grip they deserve, turning your VR sessions into a slip-free extravaganza. These grips are like the personal trainers for your controllers, ensuring they stay firmly in your hands while you embark on virtual adventures.

The upgraded design with a battery opening cover is a genius addition, making swapping out batteries feel like a breeze instead of a battle. The knuckle straps protector adds an extra layer of safety, preventing any accidental slips that could send your controller on a wild journey across the room – or worse, off the edge of your desk.

However, the grips can sometimes feel a bit bulky, turning your sleek controllers into chunky, VR-ready gadgets. The material, while durable, can occasionally feel a tad sticky, making it feel like your controllers are holding on for dear life during intense gaming sessions. Additionally, the installation process is mostly straightforward, but the battery opening cover can be a bit finicky, requiring a bit of patience and finesse to get just right.

Overall, the AMVR Upgraded Controller Grips Cover is a fantastic accessory for any VR enthusiast looking to enhance their grip and protect their controllers. They offer a perfect blend of functionality and protection, making your virtual experiences smoother and more enjoyable. A solid 4-star rating for their enhanced grip and protective features, with a tiny star lost to their occasional bulkiness and stickiness.
