    I just can't deal with the iMac wireless flat keyboard thingies they call a keyboard. This keyboard is just your basic "click" keyboard and it works flawlessly. I'm old as dirt and I just have to have a click keyboard. Now, if you are using this on a Mac (which I am) you gotta get used to which keys map to which keys on the Mac keyboard for the special functions, but its not that big of a deal. I HATE Windows (but ironically am a MCSE - another life), but I use this on my Windows box too, which I only run because I ArcGIS won't run on a Mac. Use one on my Linux box as well. It works flawlessly across all platforms. Can't ask for more. I have been using this keyboard for literally years with zero issues. It is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. It is NOT a cheap feeling keyboard. I'm kinda hung up on full size too. Guess different folks have different ideas of what is a great keyboard. If you are looking for a quality, clicky, full size keyboard this one is great. Just be aware it is wired, and you gotta get used to where things map on a Mac.

    I bought this keyboard to use with my MacBook and and very happy that I did. It works flawlessly and the feeling of typing is perfect for what I was after, I liked the look of this retro color version of the Keychron C1 and C2 but I opted for the C2 because I wanted a full size keyboard. It is non-backlit which I don’t mind but I know isn’t for everybody. This keyboard is well constructed and sturdy, it’s wired so I never have to worry about charging it, and it being non-backlight means it won’t drain my laptop battery too much or too quickly to use it. It’s simple but feels great and looks cool in my opinion, I’m very happy with this purchase. This is my first Keychron keyboard and so far I am a fan of their products. I would recommend this to anybody that just wants a nice typing experience with no frills. I chose the Keychron Red switches and I am happy with them, not too clicks or too loud, but just right.

    Love this Keyboard!

    Classic look reminds of what I grew up playing and learning on. Great key feel, solid weighty build and the dual height adjustable legs are a great touch.

    I bought this keyboard because I do a lot of typing and the flat keys that come with all computers today drive me crazy because I learned to type on a typewriter.

    This keyboard was good for a Mac, inexpensive, and seems to fit the bill. I love the feel of the keys and the sound. My only main criticism is that it’s not backlit at all so if you’re typing in a darker room, it’s a challenge. My other questionable criticism is that the cursor sometimes jumps around. I am not certain whether or not that is the keyboard or the formatting software that I am typing it into. I will come back when I have used it for a while to speak to the question of durability. Overall, I am very pleased with this item.

    The keychron brown mechanical switches seem lighter than MX browns. Build quality is better than expected, with nice included items - windows/mac alternate keycaps and puller, USB-C cable with USB-A adapter. Feet are adjustable to three angles. Rubber pads keep it from sliding around. ABS keycaps will hold their texture and printing for decades of use. Multi-media functions work well.

    For those of us used to typing on heavier keys, the keycaps can bottom out with a quite audible clack.

    Overall, a decent keyboard for a very good price.

    I bought this C2 Keychron-Red-Switch non-hot-swappable non-backlight (i.e. the most basic version) keyboard as a first time mechanical keyboard user and after months of searching YouTube and web over switches, mechanical keyboard types and reviews and etc. I always wanted to use it in office while working around others, so from the outset noise was a consideration. I am a researcher in engineering so I do a lot of coding and writing for extended amounts of time. I am also a milenial so the retro look was also a factor for me.
    For the price, this in my opinion is the best thing you can possibly buy, bar none! It is such a pleasure to type on this, I hate typing on my laptop and other membrane keyboards now. The build quality and thoughtfullness that went into the design is truely amazing, the keys after all this typing have remained reliable, it is easy to clean the if debrees go under keys and the typing accuracy is excellent.
    The red-switch despite being linear feels very different than membrane switches and in a good way. It is not as silent as your typical membrane switch keyboard however the sound level is very acceptable, no one has yet objected to me after 4 months of typing everyday. I have recieved praises from everyone for the looks of the keyboard.
    If you are looking for an affoardable high quality mechanical keyboard, this is it. I hope Keychron never stops producing these.
