    So I grabbed the 2 pack cuz I like playing for some time. The battery pack has a humm to it while it charges but not to bad while in game. Does what it needs to. Good stuff.

    Purchased for my son in January of 2025. He has been an avid user of the Quest 2 over the past several years. The early reviews for the 3S - the passthrough technology where you have a color view of everything around you with the headset on is a huge upgrade to the Oculus 2.

    The performance and features feel similar but there is a performance jump. Also some 3S/3 exclusive apps were a motivator as well. The Batman game that was bundled has already become a favorite.

    The mounting piece could have been better designed, but overall, this really does extend your play time, especially when you rotate them regularly! They do heat up a fair bit which is one of the reason I gave it 4 stars, but even then, its manageable.

    Overall, I'd say pick up three or four of these and you can play all day. Just make sure that you plug in the spent ones while you're using the fresh ones. Oh, and you really don't want to drain them all the way, from what I hear. I haven't personally had any issues though.

    Tested it to make sure no issues. But is a Christmas gift to our son who plays VR a lot. And is always disappointed when he’s low on battery and will play until it dies out of charge.
    So I’m sure he’s going to love it.
    Would buy again.
    Its a necessity for any VR enthusiast to keep connected for longer sessions and especially with games that have team competitions.

    The weight theBattery life is great it's very easy to use just charge, clip, and connect I use it mostly when my headset needs charging I dont really use it when im using My headset because of the noise of the battery can be disruptive don't get me wrong its not very loud to me but I rather not hear it at all it takes minutes to charge up back again i just wish i would have bought the 2 pack lol so taks my advice get the 2 pack

    Using for my quest 3 and this block will only charge my quest to about 20% before it gets extremely hot. My quest then pops up a box that states liquid or obstruction in charging device or cable detected, unplug immediately. I hope it didn’t have a negative effect on my quest.

    The battery pack arrived in a simple but adequate box. The design is fairly compact and lightweight, considering its capacity. It attaches to the back of the Quest headset using a Velcro strap. The strap is adjustable and fits comfortably on my head.
    The advertised capacity is 20000mWh. In my testing with the Quest 3, I consistently got an extra 2-3 hours of playtime, depending on the intensity of the VR games or applications I was using. This was a significant improvement over the Quest 3's built-in battery life. It didn't quite reach the advertised "2-4 hours" in my experience, but it was still a substantial extension.
    The battery pack charges via USB-C. It supports 18W fast charging, which is a plus. It takes a few hours to fully charge the battery pack from empty. The battery pack also has LED indicator lights that show the charging status and remaining battery level.
    While the battery pack is relatively lightweight, you can definitely feel the added weight on the back of your head. It does take some getting used to. However, the weight is distributed fairly evenly, so it doesn't feel overly unbalanced. The Velcro strap is comfortable and doesn't cause any discomfort during extended use.
    The battery pack is designed to be compatible with Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S. I tested it with my Quest 3, and it worked flawlessly.
    The battery pack does get slightly warm during use, especially during charging or intense VR sessions. However, it doesn't get excessively hot.
    A very useful feature is the pass-through charging. You can charge both the Quest headset and the battery pack at the same time. This is very convenient as you don't have to wait for one to charge before charging the other.
