Love the case. It did have a strange smell at first, but it got better after letting the case air out a little bit. Fits the PS Portal well and has plenty of storage for charging cable and earbuds.

In other reviews it mentioned that it had a strong industrial smell. Well now they put two air freshener packs inside the case and the case reeks of air freshener. I guess for some this is an improvement, but to me it’s unpleasant too. And if I put the Portal in the case, then the Portal ends up smelling like air freshener. So still I’m leaving it open and unused until this goes away, which is not happening fast, that’s for sure.

Otherwise the case is pretty well designed. The Portal fits in it nicely and it feels protective. If and when the air freshener smell goes away I’ll actually put it to good use.

Nice quality case for a reasonable price. Holds the PlayStation portal very secure with room for additional cables or adapters for charging. After reading many reviews that stated the strong chemical smell, I was a bit skeptical, but it comes with two clover scented air fresheners packaged inside of the case, which gives it the new material smell. Extremely pleased with my purchase.
