5.0 out of 5 stars Solid and flexible

Quality product. Works exactly as advertised. People that have a hard time setting it up just need to get help from someone who has a small bit of handyperson skills. The GT and F1 positions are great for replicating the respective cockpits, but a hidden advantage is if you aren't hung up on what position you are sitting in, you can adjust the cockpit to the height of your monitor. GT for a higher monitor, F1 for a lower monitor. Anyway, good stuff. Minor nits: 1) screwdriver and wrench are not the best for tightening the nuts and bolts, get real ones if you have them handy; 2) small scratches on the tubing, definitely not a deal breaker; 3) inserting tubes for legs and steering setup is very tight (try some soapy water or candle wax to help it slide in and align). If you are looking for something nicer than a desk and chair but not a full blown aluminum crate, this will work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price

I bought this as a gift for my significant other and he loves it. There is so much adjustability to achieve the desired positioning that’s comfortable for you and the portability/size is great for small spaces. Overall, I think it’s a great set up for those getting starting into racing sims but does require some tinkering to get everything feeling right.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a small room with some small issues
Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2023
First of all, it’s great, very sturdy, comfortable and it’s actually larger than I anticipated (Im a muscular 190lb 6’1 man sitting on it for 6 hours at a time) I’m sure it can fit someone up to 6’7 while in Formula mode. Setting up was not very hard, holes for bolts where a bit annoying to match, but I was working alone. Here’s the small issues, I’m a pretty strong man, this chair can be annoying to fold and unfold with all gear equipped. The weight can be uneven and it can be a bit difficult to set up/put away for a small person/child. Took me many tries to get it to fold the correct way, and still takes me about 5 min to unfold and find a comfortable position, but until I get a bigger home, this is perfect.

It folds down to a very small frame, perfect for small man caves, just watch a video on how to properly fold it and save yourself some headaches.

Also it’s sturdy, wheel and pedals stay in place. Overall really recommend it if you’re looking to try entry level sim racing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Sim Racing Foldable Chair

I live in an small apartment downtown so space is VERY limited. I always wanted a sim rig so I saved up and built me one, I was going to go with another brand but after looking at reviews I gave this one a shot and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I have an all Fanatec sim setup, the 8Nm wheelbase works perfectly, I didn't feel the need to do any modifications or add straps to hold it down. I was able to strap a Buttkicker to it and it gives that additional immersion kick when playing racing games.

The best part is, after I'm finished I fold in the pedals portion, and the back rest and I can put my whole setup next to my TV all tucked in and out of the way. I will say however, that the shifter mount is kind of flimsy so there's a bit of a wiggle but I don't mind it.

ALSO, there's another version of this chair that is not as modular so make sure you're getting the F-GT Lite version.

UPDATE: Next Level Racing believes that I have received a second-hand/open-box chair through Amazon. FYSA, the item I purchased was (supposed to be) a NEW item and shipped and sold by Amazon, NOT a third-party seller. There is some, evidence to support Next Level Racing’s theory (the mounting plate had some scratches, the wrench that was supposed to be included was missing and, oh, all the other missing parts). Next Level Racing’s suggestion was that I pack this massive thing back and up return it to Amazon for an exchange. First of all, if I wanted to carry this thing, I wouldn’t have had it delivered to my house. I had to roll the box (end over end and very gently) in the front door as it was because, let’s face it, this thing is bulky and heavy. At least it is in pieces when you put it together so the weight, while awkward, is manageable, but hefting this thing back into the box (always a fun Tetris game with any return) and taking it to the post office, to some UPS store, or some Amazon drop center is a definite no-go. I would try to talk to someone at Amazon, but you can never actually talk to someone at Amazon so I’m pretty sure I’m stuck with having paid a retail sticker price for a second-hand chair that the manufacturer won’t take responsibility for (though I see their point on this one) and that, due to the logistical nightmare of a return and inability to reach and actual human at Amazon, I’ll just be stuck with apparently. Off I go to start begging the folks at the hardware store to help me find suitable replacement hardware so I can patch this thing together. Super…

Oh I did manage to get the yoke plate on. Not sure the hardware is correct, but it works. Also included a picture of some hardware that was in the box. Absolutely NO idea what any of it goes it. It isn’t in the instruction manual “list of included hardware” or on the box anywhere and Next Level Racing didn’t send me any “you’re an idiot and that goes to [whatever component],” emails so I’m guessing they were stumped too.

Just received this today. It’s part of a surprise for my better half along with with MSFS, and new Xbox, Velocity one flight controllers, rudder pedals, etc,, I just got him. Well, that’s shot now. This chair is literally unusable at the moment and since the TV is the monitor and the controllers are wired (a must), none of it usable unless we put it all on a TV tray and he sits on the floor in the middle of the living room. That doesn’t sound like fun. At any rate, back to this should-have/been gaming chair…a good chunk of the hardware (meaning nuts and bolts and screws and such) is missing including one of the installation tools. Even if my boyfriend could put up with not having the legs of the thing secured (and hopefully not falling over) the bolts for the steering wheel/yoke plate are completely missing, so it’s utterly useless. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed. I expected much better. I emailed their customer service so we’ll see what they choose to do about it, but I’m certain any response will take time and that will ruin everything I had planned so anything short of a new one here by tomorrow or the day after is too little too late.
