I bought this to use my guitar with Rocksmith 2014 after having sold my old one. Works perfectly, game detects my guitar and there is no lag or delay in input.

Listing shows new Rocksmith+ box art, actual product received was the cable in older (manufactured around 10 years ago) box art style. The cable works, but I was expecting the product to be as shown in the listing. Slightly dissatisfied with this.

This works amazingly for what I needed it for. I use it for PS3 so if you need one for PS3 this should be your go to. I’m pretty sure it also works for Xbox 360.

The price wasn't bad, and the item arrived rather quickly. Works great for PC, which is how I use it for Rocksmith or even Bandlab on PC. I recommend buying a DI interface if you are going to use it for anything besides Rocksmith as there is a lag delay on the audio output when not using Rocksmith.

This cable is improperly labeled as being for PS3 only, when, in fact, it actually is a universal cable, good for RockSmith on PC, Xbox One/Series X/S, PS3/4/5, and any other platform that RockSmith is made for. Don’t hesitate to buy this cable, as I am using it with no modification or workarounds in place for my Xbox Series X, despite being labeled for PS3. I will say, the box for it was absolutely DESTROYED in transit, but the cable packaging was completely undisturbed, so I let that slide without complaining. It works GREAT for RockSmith, and I really am learning a lot. Put GuitarHero away, get a real (electric or amplified acoustic) guitar, this cable, and buy RockSmith; learn a valuable skill that you can be proud you spent 60 days straight playing a “game” that taught you something legit! ????
