If you ditched the 2- PS5 clear plastic stands used for horizontal placement and went to a Vertical stance, this base unit is a must. Single screw base mounting is easily installed and the base mount pulls out of the base unit, so the mounting plate never needs to be removed for travel. The 2 controller charging slots IMO are a little flimsy because the controllers don't set in flush and are balanced on the charging pin. The charging display is nice and let's you know when your (2)controllers are charged along with 3 USB connections. The fan is super quiet and just the security of keeping the PS5 from being knocked over is why I bought it. Well worth the money.
** I have the PS5 Disc but this unit WILL WORK for the Slim as they added an additional placement bracket to help secure a tighter fit.
