I have another Xbox Wireless Receiver that is used by my son. I've used it and had no problem with it.
The Same goes for This one. Basically this was just Plug N' Play.
1. Had no problems with the Receiver.
2. As I said, "Plug N' Play" for me.
3. Driver's Installed without me having to do anything.
4. Controller Paired within 2-3 Seconds. This is my Experience.
5. Overall, No Problems at all.
If, you Purchase this Product, Do not worry! Windows will install the Driver's after a few Moments. Pairing is easy. Once. the Driver's install, Count to 3 then press the button on the button on the side of the Receiver for about 2-3 Seconds then press the Small button on the Controller to get it into paring mode.
It should take No more then 10 Seconds, Sometimes less for the Controller to Pair with the receiver.
Once, paired you are GOOD TO GO!
If, Need here are the Steps that was sent to me by the Seller. Now this was sent to me by, "Jeff" who works for the Seller. So, if there are any Problem's please send a Message to the Seller.
About Pairing:
1. Plug in the Adapter into a USB Port
2. After plugging the adapter, Please make sure the driver has been updated.
3. Please press the Pairing button on the Adapter.
4. Please press the Pairing button on the Controller.
5. If, not Pairing.
5a. Check Batteries in the Xbox Controller.
5a1. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 again if, Batteries are good/replaced.
5b. If, not Pairing.
5b1. Plug Adapter into another USB Port. "Port Might Not be Working"
5c. Repeat Steps 3 and 4.
6. If, Paired Skip to
7. If, No Pairing occurred Continue to Step 7a.
7a. Click on Windows, Settings then type in the Search Box, "Device Manager" and Click to run.
7b. Once, Device Manager is open go to, "Network Adapters" and click once.
7c. Look for "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows"
7c1. If, not there Look under "Other Devices"
7c2. If it is under "Other Devices" Go to Step 8.
8. Right Click on the Device and click on "Update Driver"
8a. Click on "Browse My Computer"
8b. Click on "Let me Pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
8c. In the Left hand Box scroll down to "Network Adapters" and click on it.
8d. Still in the Left Hand Box scroll down to "Microsoft Corporation" and click on it.
8e. In the Right hand Box scroll down to "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows" and click on it.
8f. Click Next and the Driver should install.
9. You can Restart your System if, you wish but it is not necessary.
10. Return to Steps 3-4 to Pair.
11. If, Pairing occurred (Light On Xbox Controller becomes Solid", You are GOOD TO GO.
12. Happy Gaming.
