You can tell its the right size but doesnt fit super well thought. Doesnt fit snug and the shape doesnt hold well. Waste of money and use of silicone or whatever it is.

very thin layer of silicone rubber that won't protect your device when you accidentally drop it. perhaps it helps with protecting from spills.
