 After buying an extended battery for my son's headset I was eager to find a charging station that offered a way to charge both the headset and the battery. With an extra USB A port on the back, this charging station did the trick. I do like the magnetic charging connection for the main headset as this tends to be where my son breaks things. I will be looking for a short cable to connect the battery pack to the headset without having to remove the magnetic charging adapter, but this is not a showstopper just a personal preference.

**update** was working great until about 6 weeks in, when the unit has stopped charging. Tries multiple outlets as it appears the charging base is not getting power. No luck.

 This is a great charging station for quest 3. The headset and controllers connect wirelessly and make charging easy. Comes with rechargeable batteries for the controllers and a wireless magnetic usb-c charging dongle for the headset. The LED light come on when everything is connected and on. There is a button on the front if you want to turn off those lights.

My headset has a battery built into the strap, so it needs to be folded a bit to balance it on the stand. There’s an extra charging port (usb-A) so I can also charge up my battery strap while everything else charges. I would have preferred usb-c, but it comes with a cable. Great charger for the money.

**UPDATE***
I had initially given this product a glowing 5-star review and I was very happy with it.
It was working great, until it WASN'T!
After only 45 days this docking station has completely died.
I tried everything in terms of troubleshooting. New USB-C cable, new power outlet, new power strip, etc. Nothing. No LED lights, No charging, No power. Nothing. Its basically an $60 paperweight.
After a few emails to customer service, I heard back from them and they are unable to help in any way. I wasn't looking for a re-fund. Simply a replacement. Nope. Unable / unwilling to help.
I wouldn't go in this direction.

I like how sleek and organized it looks when my VR headset is on the charger. The LED light strip adds to looking really cool and you can turn it off...if you wish. The headset plugs in using the magnetic plugs and if you have a battery strap it can plug into the back using the USB A slot. The controllers have a slot to plug them in as well. A really nice setup and it works great.

Great dock for your quest. Comes with everything you need, including replacement batteries for your controllers to quick charge on the dock. RGB because why not and an additional port for a peripheral like a battery head strap. Great investment for the frequent VR user as it tops off your device between sessions easily and neatly. Its got a good build quality and doesn't feel fragile. The bottom has feet to keep it from easily sliding and Im just overall really happy to have a dock finally. I would definitely recommend, just make sure if you have controller grips that they have an access port for the batteries.

So this charger would actually be pretty great for the following Quest 3 user:
-Someone who uses the OEM head strap or a strap that does not have its own batter component
-Someone who uses the OEM controller and wrist straps

If you meet the above two criteria, then you can go for this one with no issue. Otherwise, its not something I can recommend since you will have problems with having the headset fit on the dock if using one of many third-party head straps that will not fit this dock, or if you use any alternative controller battery cover based straps or any controller covers as you will not be able to charge them unless you use what is provided to you.
