I grew up loving this game and when this remake finally released after years and years of me hoping for it, not an ounce of disappointment was felt by me! This remake is very faithful to the original game, while also adding a lot to it. It also fixes a lot of the censorship that was present in the original English version and is a lot more accurate to the original Japanese script. The graphics are beautiful and the art style is really great and classic! I also love the game-play and the story (as well as the characters within) is very fun and has a lot of personality and charm. Definitely pick this game up if possible!

The game feels exactly like classic paper mario games should. The only people complaining are because they were unaware paper mario is turn based. If you are a longtime fan of the franchise you’d have known this.

A beautiful remaster of one of my favorite games of all time
Origami King was good, but nothing compared to Thousand-year Door!
I can't recommend this game enough!

Came wrapped like it supposed to however it's the southeastern asia/European copy. The game works hence the 3 stars but losing the other two because it's not the US Copy as advertised. So false advertising.

I think this is the UK version (hence why it's so cheap), but idk the differences yet so I'm fine saving a few bucks. I haven't seen "bruv" or "innit" in the dialogue yet after 2 chapters. Game is great so far, they added new useful characters and badges and all sorta of stuff (new animations for old characters, updated stuff to fix "annoying" stuff in the original version, etc). Looks like they used some art style/game mechanics from Origami King in this, which isn't a complaint since it looks good and everything, just something I noticed is different from the original.
