I got this for someone who used to be a big fan of Tetris on Game Boy. they’re still playing it two years later and I have tried some of the games myself. Some of the games are worthless but there is a lot of good content like super Mario Brothers and many others. It may not be the real thing, but it sure beats a few hundred cartridges

The product is as described and looks like the pictures. I was worried about this purchase however the specs are great and it works. I love playing with it and teaching my daughter how to play. Just know its plastic. If it breaks I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one. So far the battery life is great. We have been playing since yesterday and haven't had to charge it yet.

I brought 2 as Christmas gifts. One for my son and one for my daughter. I brought 2 different colors....they just decided to open it to play with it. They wanted to connect it to the big screen TV. My daughters av cord broke off in the tv soon as I plugged it in and now it's stuck. So I grabbed my son's cord and plugged it into my tv in my room, it connected well but none of their controllers work. So while it's connected she has to use the gameboy to controll it not the remote like it's suppose to...only reason I'm not sending it back is because she's enjoying it. But it's my money that paid for it and if I pay for something I expect it to work how my card worked to pay for it.

Kids were happy to play with it
I loved it for the whole month and a half it worked. Then it burned out I guess. It just didn't turn on one night.

When hooked up to the TV, some of the picture gets lost at bottom of screen. And neither control worked on the both I bought for my twins.
