I started playing Inquisition casually a few years ago, I would listen to the story every now and then but would mostly just chill out and explore the various locations and dungeons while I listened to YouTube. By the time I got to the middle of the game, I was surprised by how much I picked up on even though I wasn't paying much attention. It was just personally really easy to follow along. I ended up replaying the game about a year after I finished it and it quickly became one of my all time favorite games. The lore, characters, and world building are impressive. The combat and skills are easily my favorite out of any RPG. It's incredibly fun and easy to understand and get into. I've been playing Divinity Original Sin 2 for the first time the past few weeks and it just made me appreciate Dragon Age Inquisition even more for how friendly it was for new players when I first played those many years ago as Divinity is still hard, even on the easiest difficulty. But anyway, Inquisition is the 3rd part of the Dragon Age series, I haven't played the first 2 myself but I've heard great things from those games too. In each game you are able to make your own choices and romance your companions which I always love.
I originally played Inquisition on the PS4 pro and it was impressive enough, definitely better than the PS3. I never got to play on my One X as I upgraded to a Series X and Inquisition looks absolutely stunning. Especially during closeup cutscenes of the character models, you can visibly see their skin details on their face and it's astounding. The quality is pushed to its limits and is easily up there with a high end PC in my opinion.
