This little thing is a lifesaver for making a Nintendo Switch *truly* portable. It works every bit as well as the stock dock, but is scarcely bigger than a regular USB wall phone charger, and I have no trouble putting it into the case with my Switch. Works with every HDMI input I've tried (including a projector and the Hotel TV on an overnight ferry in Japan), and keeps the Switch fully charged while in use. I've seen folks knock stars off for this not being able to power more power-hungry devices like monitors or the Steam Deck, but it's not meant for that, and they have higher-wattage models if you need that sort of thing.
The included USB-A port works very well for wired controllers, and while unfortunately it only has one port, if you need more than one, it *will* work with a USB hub (I used a generic one and had no issues). Tested this with an 8bitdo Pro 2 and a Power-A wired controller. The USB-A port also supports charging so your controllers will stay topped up.
It also works great with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, indeed working better than another purpose-build USB-C to HDMI adapter I already had (feed cuts out on that one constantly). I don't use DeX, but it works well for, say, putting emulated games from your phone onto a bigger screen.

Cons:
-Only one USB-A port (though expandable with hubs
-Limited color options (but that's just a nitpick and the available ones will be fine for nearly everyone)
-Plugs directly into wall so you need to find an accessible outlet and are limited to staying near that area, barring extension cords
-Included USB-C cable may be too short depending on where your outlet is if you want to keep your connected devices off the floor
-Power output might be too light for other devices (see their more powerful models for your needs)
Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to take their Switch on the go or plug their phone into a TV. Minor inconveniences knock down to 4.5 but since that's not an option I'll round up to 5.
