    Atari arcade collection 1 has some great hits, like centepede, missile command, and crystal castles, and golden oldies like pong, night driver, lunar lander, and super breakout. But.. some of these games are very difficult to play with the Evercade controller. Games like pong, night driver and super breakout really need a paddle, while missile command, centepede, millipede and. Crystal castles need a trackball. Getting third party controllers like that to work on the Evercade will be a bit of a challenge. Also the version of pong on here moves a bit too fast and the game is never-ending (instead of playing to 16 or 21). Asteroids Deluxe is just Asteroids with the Deluxe background added, but missing the features of the game. Finally, there are more awesome games that COULD have been added, such as Tempest, black widow, Gauntlet I and II, Major Havoc, Red Baron, etc. I really hope they can get the licenses for these and make a second collection.

    This was my first Evercade cartridge purchase, and I can't say I'm very impressed with the emulation/joypad response. Asteroids Deluxe played okay, as did Centipede. However, some of the other trackball titles like Liberator and Crystal Castles were just not very playable. Authentic playability is really important to me, and I've found that consoles from Anbernic or Powkiddy are much better at emulation than the Blaze Evercade.

    If intellectual property rights are important to you, the Evercade allows you to play these games with a clear conscience. Unfortunately, the emulation and playability do suffer to some degree. Given the price of these cartridges, I really don't feel I'm getting my money's worth.

    Based on my experience with the Atari collection, I'll probably be hesitant to buy another Evercade compilation. It's a very mediocre and even frustrating experience.

    Blaze/evercade sells cheap broken products and then doesn't offer support. Dont buy.
