    If you loved playing diamond/pearl when it first came out, then you’ll LOVE playing brilliant diamond and shinning pearl. I’m not a fan of the chino art style, but honestly when I actually had the game in my hands it doesn’t look that bad. Looked pretty nice seeing it in person. The game is still very fun just like I remember when I was a kid playing it. I know a lot of people have a problem with the exp share being on all the time and I do notice that I’m a bit high leveled. That doesn’t exactly bother me since I’m just playing the story right now so it’s whatever, I do wish there was an option to turn it off. The visuals look great, seeing all these old scenes remade is amazing and this whole game was a great trip down memory lane. If you liked playing the originals then this is a MUST so buy it now! Also one thing I’d like to note is that this is a diamond and pearl remake, not platinum. So don’t expect to many platinum elements. Overall I’m enjoying the game and thank you to Amazon for sending me this a day early! It really made my whole day better to come home from a long day of work to see this in my mailbox! On a last note, when you get near post game this game DOES get pretty hard out of nowhere so if you like a challenge you’ll love this part. The gym leaders and e4 get harder and have fully ev trained Pokemon the second time you fight them. As a competitive player I LOVE this addition to the game. I’m sure others will too!

    brand new in box and raped, the delivery was fast. the game is very nice if you want to bring old fashion Pokémon nostalgia back, its exactly a remake of Peral but with improved graphics. the game still preserves the essence of the retro games, if you liked the old Pokémon's you will live this one.

    As of writing, there are currently certain issues with the game having certain key features being coded incorrectly. I will talk about theme here.

    The Shiny Charm and the Poké-radar are simply coded incorrectly, in comparison to the previous iterations of those key features. These issues completely defeat the purpose of obtaining the items, because they basically don't work. These issues need to be fixed immediately.

    There is also another quality of life issue, where a black loading screen, upon launching the game, lasts upwards of 22 seconds. That is a ridiculous waiting time.

    Another issue, the following pokémon feature in the game is simply not as good as it was in the original generation 4 Pokémon games. Most Pokémon are undersized and lag well behind the player while the player is running, though this feature can be turned off.

    In Pokémon Heartgold and Pokémon Soulsilver, the Pokémon were in a fixed position at all times and the sizes were fairly accurate. It's unfortunate that the same thing cannot be said about this game as of now.

    Once they fix these key feature issues and quality of life issues, the review will become 5 stars. I look forward to all of these issues being improved upon.
